Potassium Metaborate, CAS 13709-94-9, (also known as potassium dioxyborate or boron potassium oxide) has the formula KBO3. Potassium Metaborate is used in conjunction with fluoride products as an additive in fluxes for stainless steel and other non-ferrous metals to avoid glare associated with sodium borate.
