Amines

Products

  • Amine Ethyl Ethanolamine

Amine Ethyl Ethanolamine or Aminoethylethanolamine, AEEA is used in the manufacture of lube oil additives, fuel additives, chelating agents, surfactants, and fabric softeners, among other applications
  • Cyclohexylamine

Cyclohexylamine is Used as a corrosion inhibitor in boiler feed water and has important applications as a chemical intermediate in insecticides, dry-cleaning soaps, gas absorbents, rubber chemicals, and plasticizers
  • Di-Isopropanolamine

Diisopropanolamine is a versatile chemical that is widely used as an emulsifier, stabilizer, surfactant, and chemical building block. It can neutralize pH, act as a buffer (stabilize pH), or add basicity (alkalinity) to a solution. Major applications include personal care products, metalworking products, and natural gas purification. Diisopropanolamine is also used in coatings, pesticides, paint strippers, paper, photographic intermediates, plastics, polyurethanes, and textiles.
  • Diethanolamine (DEA)

Diethanolamine (DEA) is used in a number of consumer products, such as shampoos, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals.
  • Diethylamine

Diethylamine has a variety of applications: an active ingredient in most insect repellent products, Alkylalkanolamine, Rubber accelerator, Pharmaceuticals, Agricultural market, Resin market, Coating and dye markets. It is also used as a corrosion inhibitor.
  • Diethylenetriamine (DETA)

Diethylenetriamine (DETA) is used mainly as a building block for wet strength agents in the paper industry, in the chelating agent synthesis, and for detergents. In other applications DETA is used as an intermediate in corrosion inhibitors, polyamide resins, asphalt additives and epoxy hardener systems
  • Diethylethanolamine (DEAE)

Diethylaminoethanol (DEAE) is used as neutralizing agent and CO2 scavenger in boiler water. The ideal vapor pressure and vapor-liquid distribution properties of DEAE make it the best choice for pH adjustment of process water. Beyond its application in the water treatment segment, DEAE is also used as a neutralizing amine for indrustrial coatings and an intermediate for various surfactants.
  • Ethylene diamine (EDA)

1,2-Ethylenediamine (EDA) is used mainly as a building block for crop protection products, in the synthesis of chelating agents and for low-temperature-active bleaching agents. The many other applications of 1,2-ethylenediamine (EDA) include polyamides, lubricants, fuel additives and textiles.

    CAS No 107-15-3
  • Isopropylamine

Regulating agent for plastics. Intermediate for pharmaceuticals, coating materials, pesticide, rubber chemicals, fiber, textil and other organic products. Also used as an additive in petroleum industry. CAS No 75-31-0
  • Monoethanolamine

Monoethanolamine (MEA) Detergents: MEA imparts a reserve alkalinity to the laundry bath, which is essential to efficient cleaning. Personal Care: Fatty acids neutralized with MEA are used as emulsifiers for oil-in water emulsions such as gel-type industrial hand cleaners, aerosol shave creams, and hand and body lotions. Textile Finishing: MEA is used as reaction intermediates for the preparation of durable press fabric finishes and softeners and When reacted to form amine soaps, useful as scouring agents for wool and silk because of its low alkalinity. Because it is gygroscopic, MEA is used in the preparation of vat printing pastes. Wood Treating: MEA is used in both alkaline copper quaternary (ACQ) and copper azole formulations for treating wood to improve its resistance to pests and decay. Both are arsenic-free alternatives to the phased-out CCA formulations.
  • Monoisopropanolamine (MIPA)

Monoisopropanolamine or MIPA is used in the following applications: Algaecides, Coatings, Fungicides, Herbicides, LCD Strippers, Paint Strippers, Personal Care, Pesticides, Pharmaceuticals, Polyurethane Additives, Metalworking Fluids, Reaction Intermediates, Surfactants, Waterborne Coatings.
  • Morpholine

Morpholine is used as an intermediate in the manufacture of rubber chemicals and optical brighteners. It is also used extensively as a corrosion inhibitor in steam boiler systems.
  • Tri-Isopropanolamine (TIPA)

Tri-Isopropanolamine (TIPA) Major applications include water-based coating applications and agricultural products. Additional applications are antistat agents for polymers, corrosion inhibitor, electrodeposition/electrocoating, lubricants, paper, pigment dispersion, plastics, polyurethane additive, reaction intermediates, rubber curing, surfactants, mineral dispersion, and urethanes.
  • Triethanolamine (TEA)

Triethanolamine (TEA) is used primarily as an emulsifier and surfactant. It is a common ingredient in formulations used for both industrial and consumer products. The triethanolamine neutralizes fatty acids, adjusts and buffers the pH, and solubilises oils and other ingredients that are not completely soluble in water. Some common products in which triethanolamine is found are liquid laundry detergents, dishwashing liquids, general cleaners, hand cleaners, polishes, metalworking fluids, paints, shaving cream and printing inks.
  • Triethylamine

Triethylamine Applications/Uses include: Agrochemical industry, Catalysts, Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals, Corrosion Inhibitors, Electronics industry, Paints, lastics, coatings and resins, Pesticides, and Rubber industry
