Products

  • Ammonium Polyfluoride

Ammonium Polyfluoride, CAS 7664-39-3/1341-49-7, is a blended fluoride that has the formula (NH4)HF2 + HF.  Ammonium Polyfluoride is 80% HF Acid and 20% Ammonium BiFluoride.  It is used for pickling of steels and others metals and for general surface treatment in the metals industry, as an additive in crude oil drilling, as a polishing additive in the aluminum industry, as a polishing, frosting, and etching additive in the glass, ceramic, and porcelain industries, and as a general cleaning additive for aluminum parts cleaners as well as textile cleaning and industrial laundry souring.

  • Fluoroboric Acid, 40%

Fluoroboric Acid, 40%, CAS 16872-11-0, (also known as hexafluoroboric acid or fluoboric acid) has the formula HBF4. It is a corrosive chemical, like all salts of fluorosilicic acid. Fluoroboric acid finds use as a cleaner and surface preparation prior to electroplating, a stripping solution for solder/flux, pH modifier for electroplating baths, as a catalyst for alkylations and polymerizations, and for the stabilization of diazo salts.

  • Fluoroboric Acid, 50%

Fluoroboric Acid, 50%, CAS 16872-11-0, (also known as hexafluoroboric acid or fluoboric acid) has the formula HBF4.

  • Fluorophosphoric Acid, 50%

Fluorophosphoric Acid, 50%, CAS 10163-15-2, (also known as hexafluorophosphoric acid or fluophosphoric acid) has the formula H2PO3F. It is a corrosive chemical, like all salts of fluorosilicic acid. Fluoroboric acid finds use as an intermediate in the diazo salt stabilization and as a precursor intermediate for the manufacture of sodium and potassium fluorophosphate.

  • Fluorosilicic Acid, 23-25%

Fluorosilicic Acid, NSF, 23-25%, CAS 16961-83-4, is used in a wide variety of chemical intermediate applications where need for metal salts of fluorosilicic acid are desired.
  • Fluorosilicic Acid, 23-25%, NSF

Fluorosilicic Acid, NSF, 23-25%, CAS 16961-83-4, is used in municipal water systems for fluoridation of potable water. FSA 23-25% is available in many sizes including: Bulk, 330 Gallon tote, 275 Gallon totes, and 55 Gallon drums. Fluorosilicic acid is also available for mini-bulk delivery in our delivery areas.
  • Fluorosilicic Acid, NSF, 40%

Fluorosilicic Acid, NSF, 40%, CAS 16961-83-4 is used by municipal potable water treatment operations for fluoridation of water systems. FSA is also the precursor chemical for production of many metal salts of fluorosilicic acid.
  • Fluorotitanic Acid, 50%

Fluorotitanic Acid 50%, CAS 17439-11-1, (also known as hydrogen fluorotitanate, hexafluorotitanic acid) has the chemical formula H2TiF6.  Fluorotitanic acid is used in industrial applications including metal surface treatment and flux as well as electroplating, chrome-free aluminum anodizing, for the manufacture of potassium titanium fluoride, and in the preparation of catalysts.  In metal plating, Fluorotitanic acid is often used with Fluorozirconic Acid.

  • Fluorotitanic Acid, 60%

Fluorotitanic Acid 60%, CAS 17439-11-1, (also known as hydrogen fluorotitanate, hexafluorotitanic acid) has the chemical formula H2TiF6.

  • Fluorozirconic Acid, 45%

Fluorozirconic Acid, 45%, CAS 12021-95-3, (also known as hexafluorozirconic acid or fluozirconic acid) has the formula H2ZrF6. It is a corrosive chemical, like all salts of fluorosilicic acid. Fluorozirconic acid finds use in zirconium oxide thin films for aluminum annodizing, in surface treatment applications, electroplating, and in chrome-free aluminum lacquering processes.  For metal treatment processes, Fluorozirconic acid and Fluorotitanic acid are often used together in the plating system.

  • Hydrofluoric Acid, 3%

Hydrofluoric Acid, 3%, CAS 7664-39-3, (also known as Hydrogen Fluoride) has the chemical formula HF.  Hydrofluoric Acid is extremely hazardous and sale is restricted.  HF Acid is widely used as an intermediate in industrial chemical manufacturing, mining clarification, oil refining catalyst production, glass manufacture and finishing, and silicon chip manufacturing. It is also used in a number of chemical preparations for metal pickling, etching, and buffing and in ceramic and porcelain applications for restoration.  **Custom concentrations and blends of HF chemistry are available from Florida Chemical.
