Products

  • Ammonium Fluoroborate

Ammonium Fluoroborate, CAS 13826-83-0, (also known as ammonium hexafluoroborate or ammonium fluoborate) has the formula (NH4)BF4. Ammonium Fluoroborate is used as a core spray or molding sand additive in magnesium casting, as a component in Cadmium/Zinc Fluoroborate plating bath, as a flame retardant for polyolefin, as an atmospheric control in heat treating of aluminum and in cutting oil emulsions for aluminum rolling and forming.

  • Cadmium Fluoroborate, 50%

Cadmium Fluoroborate, 50%, CAS 14486-19-2, (also known as cadmium tetrafluoroborate or cadmium fluoborate) has the formula CdBF4.  Cadmium Fluoroborate is most widely used in cadmium plating operations, most typically where high strength steels are being cadmium plated for corrosion resistance.

  • Copper Fluoroborate, 45%

Copper Fluoroborate, 45%, CAS 38465-60-0, (also known as copper tetrafluoroborate or copper fluoborate) has the formula Cu(BF4)2.  Copper Fluoroborate is most widely used in electroforming of copper bimetal/trimetal plating on thin wall bearings and other sensitive components.

  • Fluoroboric Acid, 40%

Fluoroboric Acid, 40%, CAS 16872-11-0, (also known as hexafluoroboric acid or fluoboric acid) has the formula HBF4. It is a corrosive chemical, like all salts of fluorosilicic acid. Fluoroboric acid finds use as a cleaner and surface preparation prior to electroplating, a stripping solution for solder/flux, pH modifier for electroplating baths, as a catalyst for alkylations and polymerizations, and for the stabilization of diazo salts.

  • Lead Fluoroborate, 51.5%

Lead Fluoroborate, 51.5%, CAS 13814-96-5, (also known as lead tetrafluoroborate or lead fluoborate) has the formula Pb(BF4)2.  Copper Fluoroborate is most widely used as an electrolyte used with Tin Fluoroborate for Lead-Tin plating in PCB/Thin wall bearing and plating operations for fire extinguishers and battery connectors.

  • Potassium Fluoroborate

Potassium Fluoroborate, CAS 14075-53-7, (also known as potassium hexafluoroborate or potassium fluoborate) has the formula KBF4.  Potassium Fluoroborate is used as a grain refining of aluminum metal cover flux for casting of light metal such as aluminum flux for silver soldering and brazing, as a welding filler in resin bonded grinding wheels, as a constituent of phosphatizing bath for the surface protection of the metallurgy of boron metal production.

  • Potassium Fluorotitanate

Potassium Fluorotitanate, CAS 16919-27-0, (also known as potassium tetrafluorotitanate or potassium fluorotitanate) has the formula K2TiF6.  Potassium Fluorotitanate is most used as an additive in aluminum metalurgy to produce alloys containing titanium in the non-ferrous metals industry and to obtain pure titanium by electroysis.

  • Potassium Fluorozirconate

Potassium Fluorozirconate, CAS 16923-95-8, (also known as potassium tetrafluorozirconate or potassium fluozirconate) has the formula K2ZrF6.  Potassium Fluorozirconate is most used as an additive in Aluminum grain refining and fireproofing of wool fabrics.

  • Sodium Fluoroborate

Sodium Fluoroborate, CAS 13755-29-8, (also known as sodium hexafluoroborate or sodium fluoborate) has the formula NaBF4.  Sodium Fluoroborate is used as an additive in non-ferrous foundry flux, in lubrication emulsions for rolling and forming of aluminum, as a grain refining agent for non-ferrous metals, for introduction of boron in to aluminum alloys, and for the removal of magnesium in the refining of scrap aluminum.

  • Stannous (Tin) Fluoroborate, 50%

Stannous (Tin) Fluoroborate, 50%, CAS 13814-97-6, (also known as stannous (tin) tetrafluoroborate or stannous (tin) fluoborate) has the formula Sn(BF4)2.  Stannous (Tin) Fluoroborate is most widely used as an electrolyte in electroplating for tin and is also used with Lead Fluoroborate for Lead-Tin plating in PCB/Thin wall bearing.

  • Zinc Fluoroborate, 40%

Zinc Fluoroborate, 40%, CAS 13826-88-5, (also known as zinc tetrafluoroborate or zinc fluoborate) has the formula Zn(BF4)2.  Zinc Fluoroborate is most widely used as a catalyst for curing resins, as an additive for wrinkle-proof and fire-proof textiles, as an additive in soldering fluxes, and in zinc plating operations.
