  • Aluminum Sodium Fluoride

    Sodium Aluminum Fluoride, CAS 13775-53-6, has the formula Na3AlF6.  Sodium Aluminum Fluoride (also known as sodium hexafluoroaluminate, sodium cryolite, or fluxal) is used as a flux agent for electrolysis of aluminum oxides, as an pesticide, as a whitener for enamels, and an opacifier for glass.

  • Ammonium Bifluoride

    Ammonium Bifluoride, CAS 1341-49-7, has the formula (NH4)HF2.  Ammonium Bifluoride is used as a replacement to Hydrofluoric Acid due to the relative ease of handling the ABF as compared to HF Acid.  ABF is used in metal processes as a buffering acid in etching processes.  ABF can also be used as an intermediate in the production of HF acid from fluorosilicic acid.  

  • Ammonium Fluoride

    Ammonium Fluoride, CAS 12125-01-08, has the formula (NH4)F.  Ammonium Fluoride is a neutral salt and can be used in wood preservation, mothproofing, in printing and textile operations, as well as in brewing operations.

  • Ammonium Fluoroborate

    Ammonium Fluoroborate, CAS 13826-83-0, (also known as ammonium hexafluoroborate or ammonium fluoborate) has the formula (NH4)BF4. Ammonium Fluoroborate is used as a core spray or molding sand additive in magnesium casting, as a component in Cadmium/Zinc Fluoroborate plating bath, as a flame retardant for polyolefin, as an atmospheric control in heat treating of aluminum and in cutting oil emulsions for aluminum rolling and forming.

  • Ammonium Fluorosilicate

    Ammonium Fluorosilicate, CAS 16919-19-0, (also known as ammonium hexafluorosilicate, ammonium fluosilicate or ammonium silicofluoride) has the formula (NH4)2SiF6. It is a toxic chemical, like all salts of fluorosilicic acid. Ammonium fluorosilicate finds use as a catalyst additive in low grade fuel refining, as a disinfectant, and it is useful in etching glass, metal casting, and electroplating. It is also used to help neutralize washing machine water as a laundry sour.

  • Ammonium Polyfluoride

    Ammonium Polyfluoride, CAS 7664-39-3/1341-49-7, is a blended fluoride that has the formula (NH4)HF2 + HF.  Ammonium Polyfluoride is 80% HF Acid and 20% Ammonium BiFluoride.  It is used for pickling of steels and others metals and for general surface treatment in the metals industry, as an additive in crude oil drilling, as a polishing additive in the aluminum industry, as a polishing, frosting, and etching additive in the glass, ceramic, and porcelain industries, and as a general cleaning additive for aluminum parts cleaners as well as textile cleaning and industrial laundry souring.

  • Antimony Trifluoride

    Antimony Trifluoride, CAS 7783-56-4, has the formula SbF4.  Antimony Trifluoride is used to catalyse fluorine by hydrofluoric acid, in the manufacture of chloro-fluorides, and in the manufacture of porcelain and ceramic.

  • Barium Fluoride

    Barium Fluoride, CAS 7787-32-8, has the formula BaF2.  Barium Fluoride is used as an additive in aluminum refining processes, as a flux and opacifying agent, as a component in welding rods and welding powders, in the treatment of hides in the leather industry, and as an active fluorocomponent in toothpastes.

  • Cadmium Fluoroborate, 50%

    Cadmium Fluoroborate, 50%, CAS 14486-19-2, (also known as cadmium tetrafluoroborate or cadmium fluoborate) has the formula CdBF4.  Cadmium Fluoroborate is most widely used in cadmium plating operations, most typically where high strength steels are being cadmium plated for corrosion resistance.

  • Calcium Fluoride (Synthetic)

    Calcium Fluoride (Fluorspar), CAS 7789-75-5, has the formula CaF2.  Calcium Fluoride is used as an electrolyte component in aluminum metallurgy, as a component of fluxing agents and refining salts, as an anti-glare additive in opical lenses, as an additive in the manufacture of reflection reducing layers in glass and in the manufacture of fluorescent lamps, as a fluxing and opacyfying agent, denture preparations, and as a component in the manufacture of welding rods and welding powders.

  • Copper Fluoroborate, 45%

    Copper Fluoroborate, 45%, CAS 38465-60-0, (also known as copper tetrafluoroborate or copper fluoborate) has the formula Cu(BF4)2.  Copper Fluoroborate is most widely used in electroforming of copper bimetal/trimetal plating on thin wall bearings and other sensitive components.

  • Fluoroboric Acid, 40%

    Fluoroboric Acid, 40%, CAS 16872-11-0, (also known as hexafluoroboric acid or fluoboric acid) has the formula HBF4. It is a corrosive chemical, like all salts of fluorosilicic acid. Fluoroboric acid finds use as a cleaner and surface preparation prior to electroplating, a stripping solution for solder/flux, pH modifier for electroplating baths, as a catalyst for alkylations and polymerizations, and for the stabilization of diazo salts.

  • Fluoroboric Acid, 50%

    Fluoroboric Acid, 50%, CAS 16872-11-0, (also known as hexafluoroboric acid or fluoboric acid) has the formula HBF4. It is a corrosive chemical, like all salts of fluorosilicic acid. Fluoroboric acid finds use as a cleaner and surface preparation prior to electroplating, a stripping solution for solder/flux, pH modifier for electroplating baths, as a catalyst for alkylations and polymerizations, and for the stabilization of diazo salts.

  • Fluorophosphoric Acid, 50%

    Fluorophosphoric Acid, 50%, CAS 10163-15-2, (also known as hexafluorophosphoric acid or fluophosphoric acid) has the formula H2PO3F. It is a corrosive chemical, like all salts of fluorosilicic acid. Fluoroboric acid finds use as an intermediate in the diazo salt stabilization and as a precursor intermediate for the manufacture of sodium and potassium fluorophosphate.

  • Fluorosilicic Acid, 23-25%

    Fluorosilicic Acid, NSF, 23-25%, CAS 16961-83-4, is used in a wide variety of chemical intermediate applications where need for metal salts of fluorosilicic acid are desired.
  • Fluorosilicic Acid, 23-25%, NSF

    Fluorosilicic Acid, NSF, 23-25%, CAS 16961-83-4, is used in municipal water systems for fluoridation of potable water. FSA 23-25% is available in many sizes including: Bulk, 330 Gallon tote, 275 Gallon totes, and 55 Gallon drums. Fluorosilicic acid is also available for mini-bulk delivery in our delivery areas.
  • Fluorosilicic Acid, NSF, 40%

    Fluorosilicic Acid, NSF, 40%, CAS 16961-83-4 is used by municipal potable water treatment operations for fluoridation of water systems. FSA is also the precursor chemical for production of many metal salts of fluorosilicic acid.
  • Fluorotitanic Acid, 50%

    Fluorotitanic Acid 50%, CAS 17439-11-1, (also known as hydrogen fluorotitanate, hexafluorotitanic acid) has the chemical formula H2TiF6.  Fluorotitanic acid is used in industrial applications including metal surface treatment and flux as well as electroplating, chrome-free aluminum anodizing, for the manufacture of potassium titanium fluoride, and in the preparation of catalysts.  In metal plating, Fluorotitanic acid is often used with Fluorozirconic Acid.

  • Fluorotitanic Acid, 60%

    Fluorotitanic Acid 60%, CAS 17439-11-1, (also known as hydrogen fluorotitanate, hexafluorotitanic acid) has the chemical formula H2TiF6.  Fluorotitanic acid is used in industrial applications including metal surface treatment and flux as well as electroplating, chrome-free aluminum anodizing, for the manufacture of potassium titanium fluoride, and in the preparation of catalysts.  In metal plating, Fluorotitanic acid is often used with Fluorozirconic Acid.

  • Fluorozirconic Acid, 45%

    Fluorozirconic Acid, 45%, CAS 12021-95-3, (also known as hexafluorozirconic acid or fluozirconic acid) has the formula H2ZrF6. It is a corrosive chemical, like all salts of fluorosilicic acid. Fluorozirconic acid finds use in zirconium oxide thin films for aluminum annodizing, in surface treatment applications, electroplating, and in chrome-free aluminum lacquering processes.  For metal treatment processes, Fluorozirconic acid and Fluorotitanic acid are often used together in the plating system.

  • Hydrofluoric Acid, 3%

    Hydrofluoric Acid, 3%, CAS 7664-39-3, (also known as Hydrogen Fluoride) has the chemical formula HF.  Hydrofluoric Acid is extremely hazardous and sale is restricted.  HF Acid is widely used as an intermediate in industrial chemical manufacturing, mining clarification, oil refining catalyst production, glass manufacture and finishing, and silicon chip manufacturing. It is also used in a number of chemical preparations for metal pickling, etching, and buffing and in ceramic and porcelain applications for restoration.  **Custom concentrations and blends of HF chemistry are available from Florida Chemical.

    Hydrofluoric Acid, 70%, CAS 7664-39-3, (also known as Hydrogen Fluoride) has the chemical formula HF.  Hydrofluoric Acid is extremely hazardous and sale is restricted.  HF Acid is widely used as an intermediate in industrial chemical manufacturing, mining clarification, oil refining catalyst production, glass manufacture and finishing, and silicon chip manufacturing. It is also used in a number of chemical preparations for metal pickling, etching, and buffing and in ceramic and porcelain applications for restoration.  **Custom concentrations and blends of HF chemistry are available from Florida Chemical.

  • Lead Fluoroborate, 51.5%

    Lead Fluoroborate, 51.5%, CAS 13814-96-5, (also known as lead tetrafluoroborate or lead fluoborate) has the formula Pb(BF4)2.  Copper Fluoroborate is most widely used as an electrolyte used with Tin Fluoroborate for Lead-Tin plating in PCB/Thin wall bearing and plating operations for fire extinguishers and battery connectors.

  • Lithium Fluoride

    Lithium Fluoride, CAS 7789-24-4, has the formula LiF.  Lithium Fluoride is used as a constituent in welding fluxes, in fluxes for brazing of zirconium and titanium, as a rocket fuel suppressant, in the welding of magnesium castings, and as an ingredient in non-ferrous foundry fluxes.

  • Magnesium Fluoride

    Lithium Fluoride, CAS 7783-40-6, has the formula MgF2.  Magnesium Fluoride is used as a flux in the metalurgy of magnesium metal, as an additive in fluxes for porcelain and pottery, as a coating agent for titanium pigments, and as a phosphor in cathode ray screens.  In its pure form, it is used as an anti-glare agent in optical lens coatings.

  • Magnesium Fluorosilicate

    Magnesium Fluorosilicate, CAS 16949-65-8, (also known as magnesium hexafluorosilicate, magnesium fluosilicate or magnesium silicofluoride) has the formula MgSiF6. It is a toxic chemical, like all salts of fluorosilicic acid. Magnesium fluorosilicate finds use as an additive in metal finishing, stone floor finishing, and a variety of other specialized applications.

  • Nickel Fluoride

    Nickel Fluoride, CAS 13940-83-5, has the formula NiF2.  Nickel Fluoride is used in metal plating operations, as a passivation layer on advanced nickel metals such as monel, in metal cold sealing applications, as a catalyst for the production of chlorine pentafluoride, in marking ink compositions for fluorescent lamps, as a transhalogenation catalyst for fluoroolefins, in the manufacture of varistors, as a catalyst for hydrofluorination, in the synthesis of xenon hexafluoride, and in the preparation of high purity elemental fluorine for research and chemical lasers.

  • Potassium Bifluoride

    Potassium Bifluoride, CAS 7789-29-9, has the formula KHF2.  Potassium Bifluoride is used in metal fluxes and silver solder fluxes, in Fluorine cell electrolyte, as a polymerization catalyst, and in the induction of fluorine in organic synthesis.

  • Potassium Fluoride

    Potassium Fluoride, CAS 7789-23-3, has the formula KF.  Potassium Fluoride is used as a flux additive in metalurgy and silver solder, as a vehicle for introduction of fluorine in organic synthesis, as an additive in glass frosting products, in the manufacture of potassium metal, and in the heavy water industry.

  • Potassium Fluoroborate

    Potassium Fluoroborate, CAS 14075-53-7, (also known as potassium hexafluoroborate or potassium fluoborate) has the formula KBF4.  Potassium Fluoroborate is used as a grain refining of aluminum metal cover flux for casting of light metal such as aluminum flux for silver soldering and brazing, as a welding filler in resin bonded grinding wheels, as a constituent of phosphatizing bath for the surface protection of the metallurgy of boron metal production.

    Potassium Fluorosilicate, CAS 16871-90-2, (also known as potassium hexafluorosilicate, potassium fluosilicate or potassium silicofluoride) has the formula KSiF6. It is a toxic chemical, like all salts of fluorosilicic acid. Potassium fluorosilicate finds use as an additive in metal finishing, ore refining, and a variety of other specialized applications.

  • Potassium Fluorotitanate

    Potassium Fluorotitanate, CAS 16919-27-0, (also known as potassium tetrafluorotitanate or potassium fluorotitanate) has the formula K2TiF6.  Potassium Fluorotitanate is most used as an additive in aluminum metalurgy to produce alloys containing titanium in the non-ferrous metals industry and to obtain pure titanium by electroysis.

  • Potassium Fluorozirconate

    Potassium Fluorozirconate, CAS 16923-95-8, (also known as potassium tetrafluorozirconate or potassium fluozirconate) has the formula K2ZrF6.  Potassium Fluorozirconate is most used as an additive in Aluminum grain refining and fireproofing of wool fabrics.

  • Sodium Bifluoride

    Sodium Bifluoride, CAS 1333-83-1, has the formula NaHF2.  Sodium Bifluoride is used as a laundry sour for iron stains, for etching and frosting of glass, and for the pretreatment of metal surfaces for electroplating.

  • Sodium Bifluoride Pellets

  • Sodium Fluoride (USP)

    Sodium Fluoride (USP), CAS 7681-49-4, has the formula NaF.  Sodium Fluoride USP is the primary used additive in the dental industry to fluoridate products such as fluoride treatments, toothpaste, Mouth-washer, and other fluoride containing products. It can also be used for water fluoridation, but Sodium Fluorosilicate or Fluorosilicic Acid is typically used in that application.  

  • Sodium Fluoroborate

    Sodium Fluoroborate, CAS 13755-29-8, (also known as sodium hexafluoroborate or sodium fluoborate) has the formula NaBF4.  Sodium Fluoroborate is used as an additive in non-ferrous foundry flux, in lubrication emulsions for rolling and forming of aluminum, as a grain refining agent for non-ferrous metals, for introduction of boron in to aluminum alloys, and for the removal of magnesium in the refining of scrap aluminum.

    Sodium Fluorosilicate, CAS 16893-85-9, (also known as sodium hexafluorosilicate, sodium fluosilicate or sodium silicofluoride) has the formula NaSiF6. It is a toxic chemical, like all salts of fluorosilicic acid. Sodium fluorosilicate finds use as an additive in metal finishing, as a fluoridation additive in potable water treatment (when NSF Registered), and ore refining, and a variety of other specialized applications.

    Sodium Fluorosilicate, NSF, CAS 16893-85-9, (also known as sodium hexafluorosilicate, sodium fluosilicate or sodium silicofluoride) has the formula NaSiF6. It is a toxic chemical, like all salts of fluorosilicic acid. Sodium fluorosilicate finds use as an additive in metal finishing, as a fluoridation additive in potable water treatment (when NSF Registered), and ore refining, and a variety of other specialized applications.
  • Stannous (Tin) Fluoroborate, 50%

    Stannous (Tin) Fluoroborate, 50%, CAS 13814-97-6, (also known as stannous (tin) tetrafluoroborate or stannous (tin) fluoborate) has the formula Sn(BF4)2.  Stannous (Tin) Fluoroborate is most widely used as an electrolyte in electroplating for tin and is also used with Lead Fluoroborate for Lead-Tin plating in PCB/Thin wall bearing.

  • Strontium Fluoride

    Strontium Fluoride, CAS 7783-48-4, has the formula SrF2.  Strontium Fluoride is primarly used as an optical coating material for a narrow range of highly specialized lens applications as well as a number of other high-tech applications.

  • Zinc Fluoride

    Zinc Fluoride, CAS 7783-49-5, has the formula ZnF2.  Zinc Fluoride is a widely used fluoride compound in a number of industries.  It is used in the fluorination of organic compounds, as an additive in electrolytic aluminum, and also in electroplating operations. It also has uses in food preservation, the manufacture of fluxes for metallurgy, oxygen sensitive applications for metal production, glass, enamels, fabrics and plastics as well as applications as a catalyst additive in oil refining, in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals, phosphors for electric lights, and in the manufacture  of floor coverings.  

  • Zinc Fluoroborate, 40%

    Zinc Fluoroborate, 40%, CAS 13826-88-5, (also known as zinc tetrafluoroborate or zinc fluoborate) has the formula Zn(BF4)2.  Zinc Fluoroborate is most widely used as a catalyst for curing resins, as an additive for wrinkle-proof and fire-proof textiles, as an additive in soldering fluxes, and in zinc plating operations.
